A Hole in the Wall

As I'm sure you must have heard (you can hear it the whole way across campus!), there has been some major work going on here at the library, cutting through walls that will eventually be replaced with glass windows in the Heaton Family Learning Commons.

At the moment, the vacated library has the look of something vaguely sinister...but things are proceeding rapidly and there's no telling what the next day may bring. It's especially loud here as the most dramatic of the demolition work continues, but we hope that the worst of the noise will be over soon.

  1. I am very excited for our future library. Today, I stopped in to see how much it has changed, and boy has it changed! Martin greeted me with great enthusiasm, as he always does. When he showed me around and explained the vision of or new Heaton Family Learning Commons, I was reminded that even though our space is limited the library is still a great place to be! I am very excited to see the finished product. Thank you, library staff!
