Dan Kiefer Photo Update 3/28

With the carpeting installed upstairs, it's beginning to look quite cozy here in the Heaton Learning Commons! It's certainly a welcome change from the orange carpet of the old Beck Library. 

The central staircase is on its way in now, with framework already in place. All in all, progress continues at a steady and encouraging rate.

Michael Clements Photo Update 3/21

Today's photo update includes a lot of images with the word "finishes" in the title. That's encouraging! As we draw farther into Spring, we gain a better and better picture of what the future completed space will be like. So far, it's clear: light is the key feature of the Heaton Learning Commons' aesthetic.

Dan Kiefer Photo Update 3/14

The library closed this past Thursday and Friday while work was done on the (old) entryway. Aside from that, we at the library haven't been privy to much information on what's been going on in the rest of the building this past week. Nonetheless, the photos speak for themselves! A lot of progress has taken place and things continue to move swiftly forward.

Dan Kiefer Photo Update 3/7

As we move into the last leg of the renovation, the BC3 library bids a fond farewell to Michael Clements and welcomes Dan Kiefer as the new Project Manager on the Heaton Learning Commons project. The library staff is grateful to Dan for upholding the tradition of sending photos of the ongoing work to the library staff at the end of his first week on the job. 

We wish Michael all the best in his future and are enormously thankful for the hard work he demonstrated during his time on the project. Welcome, Dan! We look forward to seeing the completion of this project under your management.
